The Crisis Response Team

Invites you to become a Crisis Response Team Volunteer.  As a volunteer member you are activated by the Los Angeles Police and Fire Departments to provide immediate on‑scene intervention, emotional support and referrals to victims and their families involved in a traumatic incident.  For more information, please call (213) 978-0697 or visit www.lapdonline.org.

Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) catalogue courses for both the National Fire Academy (NFA) and Emergency Management Institute (EMI) is available on-line at: www.usfa.fema.gov.  Printed copies can be ordered through the web site or by calling 1‑800‑561‑3356.
